Holograms
The term "holograms" refers to a visual defect, similar to a shadow or rainbow trail, that occurs on the car paint after incorrect polishing.
In particular, this defect appears when low-quality abrasive products are used or when the polishing technique is incorrect.
They often appear after using rotary or random orbital polishers when the pressure, speed or type of pad used are not suitable for the paint or the type of scratches to be treated. Furthermore, the use of low-quality abrasives and polishes can contribute to the formation of visual defects on the paint.
To prevent the formation of holograms during the polishing phase it is essential to use the right techniques and products. This certainly includes choosing appropriate polishes, such as Scratch Remover or T47 and T57 polishes used with specific pads and using professional techniques.
