Sandpaper
"Sandpaper" is a type of solid abrasive consisting of a paper base on which granules of different thicknesses are attached. Lower grits indicate coarser abrasives suitable for removing deeper defects, while higher grits represent finer abrasives. In car detailing it is used, in fact, for sanding and to prepare the surface for a filling treatment.
The process of use can take place in 2 ways, using a manual sanding pad or using tools such as the random orbital or rotary polisher, used to treat large surfaces or to speed up the surface sanding process.
