Oxidation

“Oxidation” refers to a chemical process in which a vehicle's paint surface deteriorates due to exposure to oxygen in the air. This phenomenon is often visible as a change in the appearance of the paint, where it can become dull, faded and even develop a rough patina. Oxidation is mainly caused by the chemical reaction between the paint and oxygen over time.

To counteract the effects of oxidation and eliminate the patina that forms on the car paint, it is necessary to use high quality polishes such as T47 and T57 or Scratch Remover . After treating the surface, in the protection phase following washing and polishing, it is important to use products that preserve the surfaces and maintain the result obtained over time. In this case, products such as the Brightening Protective Detailer (for shiny cars) and the Renewing Protective Detailer (for matte cars) or the Polishing Protective Wax designed specifically to protect the car after polishing are very effective.
