How to use the microfiber cloth?

Microfibre cloths are fundamental accessories in detailing, useful both for cleaning and for the application of multiple products.

Each cloth is specific for a specific treatment or step, so it becomes essential to make a distinction between the types of cloths, which can be: cleaning, finishing or polishing.

  • Cleaning cloths : cloths such as Microfibre Cloth green are characterized by a short pile on one or both sides of the cloth and high absorbent power, suitable for wiping the surfaces with which it comes into contact. This cloth should be sprayed with the product, as well as applied to the surface to be treated, so as to soften it by then carrying out rotary movements to allow the products to be spread on the surface and so that the cloth can carry out the correct abrasive and absorbent action of the dirt that allows excellent cleaning of the surface
  • Finishing cloths : cloths such as Microfibre Cloth gold , on the other hand, are soft, characterized by long hair on one or both sides of the cloth, which allows the cloth to absorb residues of applied products. Specifically, the action of removing excess products could take place with rotary or perpendicular movements based on the area to be treated
  • Polishing cloths : cloths such as Microfibre Cloth red are thick, very soft to the touch on one or two parts and are non-absorbent products, capable of spreading the product without removing or absorbing it, minimizing the application of the product and maximizing the results. They are used, for example, with car wax such as Polishing Protective Wax
  • Double-sided cloths : cloths such as Microfibre Cloth orange can have two different sides, one with a shorter pile like the green microfibre cloth and one with a longer pile such as the gold microfibre cloth. This makes them 2 in 1, normally suitable for both cleaning and finishing. They are used
