Abrasive

The term "abrasive" refers to paste products or materials (sandpaper) used to remove superficial layers from a surface, generally to eliminate defects such as scratches, oxidation or stains.

In the case of abrasive products, such as polish and abrasive pastes, these are polishing pastes with a different "grain" with the aim of removing a more or less thick portion of the paintwork. In the case of sandpaper, however, there are numbers to indicate the type of grain that makes it up. A lower grit indicates a more aggressive abrasive capable of removing more material (with the risk of damaging the surface if used improperly), conversely, a higher grit is less aggressive and offers a finer level of finish. It is important to use abrasives with care and knowledge, always following the instructions in the User Manuals.

Specifically, The Care abrasives are used for the polishing process, which can be followed by a further step with the products of the Protecting line, designed to fix the result obtained and protect from future scratches. Products such as T47 and T57 are products from the Polishing line, ideal for polishing light and dark surfaces, since they have a small percentage of protective wax inside, so as to obtain an excellent polishing and protection result with a single application process.
