How to apply dashboard polish?
To apply Dashboard Polish dashboard polish correctly, it is necessary to clean the surfaces to be treated beforehand as the polishing process cannot take place on dirty and non-degreased surfaces.
Materials needed:
- APC product : it is necessary to have an All Purpose Cleaner product suitable for cleaning any surface such as the Degreaser
- Microfibre cloth : to apply the product it is possible to use a cloth dedicated to cleaning the surface: in this case both microfibre cloths may be suitable, such as the green cloth specific for cleaning and degreasing surfaces and which is washable and reusable or disposable cloths
Procedure:
- Apply the product : spray the Degreaser or other APC product directly on the affected surface or apply it on a microfibre cloth to make it soft and avoid possible scratches to the surface
- Remove dullness : use a microfiber cloth to gently rub the area to be treated and remove dirt and dullness
- Check and repeat the operation : carefully inspect and check the treated surface to ensure you have polished it correctly. Repeat the process if necessary
For the most demanding detailers there are specific products for deep cleaning such as Interior Cleaner Kit , capable of eliminating accumulations of dirt and restoring tone to the treated materials.
Once the surface is clean and free of oily substances, it is possible to apply the dashboard polish on the gold or orange microfibre cloth and on the surface by rubbing, then removing any residues with the long-haired part of the cloth.
