What to do with foggy windows?
Fogging of windows, windows, windscreens and visors is a phenomenon that can also occur while we are driving. Here we will discover how to remove fogging on car windows in a few simple steps:
- Turn on the heating : setting it to the maximum temperature and directing it towards the car windscreen both to defrost and to remove fogging
- Air conditioning : the use of air conditioning helps combat the phenomenon by effectively reducing the humidity inside the vehicle
- Open the windows : to allow an exchange of air so that the humidity and internal/external temperature balance, avoiding the phenomenon
To avoid the phenomenon, there are some products or treatments, such as Antifog Kit , which allows you, after a quick application, not to have to worry about windows and visors fogging up.
Things not to do
We do not recommend following the intuition that leads us to "clean" the glass with our hands as the sweat and impurities present will deposit on the glass, dirtying it and further contributing to the fogging phenomenon.
Another not recommended practice is to use products that are not specific for glass, which, like sweat, could release residues that worsen fogging.
A fundamental factor to avoid fogging and make it less persistent when it occurs is to regularly clean your car windows, generally improving visibility while driving.
